We are looking for 2 Digital Producers to join our fast moving Digital Content team here at the Department of Health.

Are you interested in the web? Do you have good writing and editing skills? Would you be up for helping to create images and films? That’s what we’re looking for because in the role you will be responsible for creating, editing and publishing web content to GOV.UK and other digital channels.

You need to be a civil servant and the job is at EO level, which means the salary is £24,938 to £30,275. It closes on 25 October 2013, so if you’re interested, do get your application in soon.

You’re probably the right person if as well as great writing skills:

  • you would jump at the chance to work on our innovative digital engagement campaigns
  • you fancy your hand at filming, recording, tweeting
  • you’re interested in monitoring and understanding the impact of your work
  • you would be comfortable and effective working with staff across the Department, including other communications staff and policy officials

The GCN competencies we want to focus on are: Implementation and Impact. And the Civil Service competencies are around setting direction, engaging people and delivering results.
