How we are informing our colleagues about GOV.UK

Posted by: , Posted on: - Categories: Content, Services and products

As part of our preparations for the move to GOV.UK,  in the Channel Strategy team we have been making our way round to see our DH Communications colleagues to inform them about GOV.UK  and what this will mean for them. Read more about our preparations for GOV.UK in Rob Rockstroh's blog post.

We have also started presenting to policy colleagues in the department, and over the next couple of months will be engaging them in the process of rationalising and migratating content,  as GOV.UK will mean significant changes to how policies are presented across government.

We are using this as an extra opportunity to introduce ourselves to people in the department, to explain 'digital by default' and, for health and care, 'digital first'.  Alongside this, Rachel Neaman and Stephen Hale are meeting with senior management to talk about the government's digital strategy and the DH digital strategy.

Here is the slide pack that we are using for our presentation. We have amalgamated some very useful slides provided by GDS colleagues with some of our own.

If you work at DH then we will be presenting to your directorate soon.  If you have any questions about this in the meantime, please ask me.

P.S. this presentation is in PDF format without some very useful extra notes due to a technical glitch in uploading, but we hope to amend this shortly!
