I wrote a few weeks ago about changes to DH's digital operations, and our plans to streamline the number of digital channels we use. Stephen Hale also wrote recently about the types of digital content we use to explain policy, for policy engagement and for transparency purposes.
The move to GOV.UK means that some of our previous channels are no longer required and so we have migrated our content. For other sites, the function or responsibility has moved to another body in the health and care system, often NHS England or Public Health England, and we will archive them.
In the next few weeks The National Archives will take a full copy of all of these sites and we will then close many of them.
